Hi all,

This is Ollie (de facto: On hee de jure)

While reading Chapter 1, I had two questions: one is what difference lies between use value and exchange value and the other is how commodities are interpreted in this era. I am sharing what I found about the second question.

1. Will Water Become the Chief Commodity of the 21st Century? https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/will-water-become-the-chief-commodity-of-the-21st-century/

2. 'Time, not money is the 21st century’s most precious commodity' https://www.theguardian.com/women-in-leadership/2015/oct/07/time-not-money-is-the-21st-centurys-most-precious-commodity

3. ‘Housing should be seen as a human right. Not a commodity’ https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/feb/28/luxury-real-estate-housing-crisis-un-homelessness

4. Now a degree is a commodity, no wonder more students are cheating https://www.theguardian.com/education/commentisfree/2017/feb/22/degree-commodity-university-funding-students-plagiarism

Each one could become an interesting topic we might talk more later on.
